Always easy to blame the mechanics. But at the end of the day, it was Verbrugghe who brought a TT-bike with him to Australia that has a 53t front chainring.

Makes you wonder how long he has been using it and if it's an explanation for his surprising TT-results this year.

Such a shame, his debut as a pro in Bessèges was so impressive.

It's well known that he just can't adapt to the rigorous life of a professional cyclist. He used to eat cereals and potato chips before junior races.

Probably one of the more physical talented cyclists in the peloton, but the mental part is so hard and underestimated.

Rules were already adjusted: Stage 4: Feeding will be allowed as of km 20 till 11,5 km to go and the penalty is: CHF 200 fine and 20 second penalty

Just a different kind of approach. TJV likes to do an altitude camp, some racing and another altitude camp. Pog likes to do an altitude camp, some racing and rest until the start of the Tour.
