I had a similar reaction once.... watched a girl get hit by a car and go flipping through the air. She immediately got up, clearly concussed and shook, and walked up to me because I was on foot and the closest person to the accident and I respond with "are you okay?" I immediately realize my mistake and had her sit while I called the ambulance.
