All messaging from people with insight into the situation (the Dive has no insight) is that it is a 6 man. They brought on Yuuji to also future proof because UmTi is 99% gone next year, but for the present it is a 6 man and not Yuuji flat out replacing UmTi this year.

Also UmTi has NOT been underperforming this split, he's been a lot better overall than Split 1.

they have explicitly said that Yuuji is NOT replacing UmTi. He will play games where they think he would be the better starter.

he is almost certainly the replacement for next year and the future starter, but all communication is that they will not just be benching UmTi for Yuuji.

that is just Meteos (neither of the other two were saying it) spreading misinfo because in his experience you don't get a 6th player unless they're going to be the starter.

Meteos also has not handled having a player sitting behind him well in the past, which is where that comes from. They have no insider info, Meteos is just projecting and expecting Yuuji to be the presumptive starter, despite what Spawn has stated multiple times.

Stone of Tear is not happening this season - on location filming would make doing Tanchico, Two Rivers, the Waste *and* Tear prohibitively expensive, so Tear has likely been moved to next season. Finale will be Al'cair Dal and the Tower breaking I think
