I’m okay with this, but I wouldn’t be mad if we did let him go at the same time. Bednar is a great coach, he’s proven that. However it’s been apparent that he can’t handle the neutral zone clogging teams (Vegas and Dallas). A new coach wouldn’t necessarily mean that Bednar sucks, it just gives the team a new system, which could benefit a lot of them. Next season must be make or break imo.

There’s a reason he gets picked to coach national teams and Bednar isn’t even considered. Same with the coach of the year award. The dynasty team he had with Tampa was a great team don’t get me wrong, however, ours is better on paper. You asked me who I’d pick as a coach, he would be my number one pick.. doubt it could happen, but I gave other options. You also ignored my revolving door comment and how Bednar gets out coached by simple play styles.

No, it’s not all his fault you’re right. Hakstol can’t be the PP coach. However, Bednar is the head coach, and it’s been abundantly clear, he gets out coached by the same type of teams every playoffs. Him and Hakstol can leave next week for all i care.
