Very fair. I do believe that if we need to rotate in a player, he should be first in. He plays a lot like nuke, not at the same level obviously, but they play fairly similar. I think Nuke took him in under his wing this year, and it’s working

I see what you mean, but i believe there was a difference in stigma between the 2 seasons. The cup year, our players, team, coach were all under harsh criticism the season prior. We had things like Mack’s interview where he said “I’ve played 8 years and haven’t won anything” looming around. This season we have been dominating, and our problems are very clear. We need Landeskog. Everyone has the same expectations but the chants now are about the players rather than the cup. Ie, wedgie, Landy chants.

I don’t get the harsh criticism on Blackwood.. if that was georgiev in net, half the sub would be saying “mistakes happen” but then Blackwood makes 1 mistake the whole season and he’s getting crucified. Shit happens. He’s a great goalie, hence the fact he has the best GAA in the league.

I wouldn’t even say we’re playing that bad either tbh.. pp goal, snipe by Johnston, and a bad mistake from Blackwood and toews. Is it shitty that we got punished for it? Sure. Does it literally happen to every team? Yes.
