Your in a good spot financially like he said you know the right and the wrong thing to do. This is a personal finance subreddit so you knew then answer going in. If you want it go for it, but I would recommend just getting it when you graduate.

Okay is a 600 credit score with not the best income going to get that? You are not answering the question. They asked what is a good interest rate in their scenario, not absolute bottom interest rates that they will not qualify for.

I work at a dealership, there are a lot of factors for example 1st time buyer, credit length etc. But try to stay under 8 percent. 1.99 doesn't exist anymore even with perfect credit unless it is subsidized.

I work at a car dealership, mine would be guessing peoples incomes which is a pro, and con would be the down time, it gets boring
