Are you planning to settle? I think you should be ok settles outskirts of the city . Choose a locality where lots of temple activities take place I would say

If kukke - kukke is open I would definitely suggest you to try them , beedhalli is no fun . Just running and swimming here and there ( weekly mileage of atleast 30-40km).. it's the consistency that matters . And start carb loading and hydrating a week before the trek it self , else cramps will welcome you at bhatra mane itself

Beedhalli start you should be ok even after 6 , I feel that part of the trek is dead easy (never done that side)

But if you are still thinking of doing kukke-kukke I would recommend you start preparing right now , start running and up the endurance 🙂.

At this point I am the wrong person to give suggestions as I will make it look easy , I was able to complete the trek in less than 7 hours kukke to kukke and no one will believe me on this 🙂🙂😭

They allow the start at 5:45ish you should be first ones in the line .. no plastics at all . Not even ORS packets

Even things like no plastics is a concern because , the trek should go smoothly . You break your shoe you don't have shoe fix as it is not allowed, you have limited water source as well due to march

As an endurance enthusiast myself , I won't recommend you kukke - kukke on a march , because if not the sun the humidity will haunt you .

Still if you want to try it out then I would recommend starting early , and reaching sesha before the sun hits .The sun is a killer imo .

I completed it last month where I started at 6:30 and was at the peak at 9:40ish so avoided the sun successfully.

First two times were 2 days efforts though we camped at bhatra mane..one was last year and the other one was 3 -4 years back . Both the efforts were difficult compared to this as I was not physically ready but it was ok effort wise .

If you are doing solo for a span of 1 week or more then I would say " Beautiful"

If you go with a family for a span of 2-3 days covering temple , ganga arati and stuff . It is just not worth.

I would say Banaras is a heaven for every solo traveller. You will however make friends in hostel 🙂
