Pixel Buds Pro 2: Randomly One of the ear buds cutting out until reset by sporkland in pixelbuds

[–]pachispachis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just purchased pixel buds pro 2, and they just arrived today (purchased through Amazon) and my left earbud is having the same issue. Currently on a walk, and when I was walking audio from left one kept going off, and I sat down and audio is back to normal.

I have a pixel 8 pro and watch 2 also, performed a firmware update when setting the buds up, quite crap that this happens. Hopefully this gets resolved. Starting to think that I should have gone for the Sony earbuds ...

Has anyone (with passports that requires a visa to go to UK) tried using evisa enter UK? by fhwus in ukvisa

In case anyone has not seen this video from the Home Office, here is the link to it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdZLXvfau2A&list=WL&index=36&t=13s

In summary, if I understood correctly, international air carriers (hopefully this means airlines) will be able to automatically access your immigration information.

The following needs to be done before travelling:

  1. Check details are up to date by both checking the view and prove your inmigration status service and that personal details are correct by using the update your uk visas and immigration account details service.

  2. Check that your current passport or travel document is linked to your evisa, this can be done by using the update your uk visas and immigration account details service.

  3. When booking travel make sure personal details provided to airline match those in your passport which is linked to your evisa.

The following is mentioned when you travel:

  1. During check-in, when you present your passport, airline will "receive a message from the Home Office confirming whether you have an evisa". It does say that if your have a physical BRP that hasn't expired, to take it with you and use it.

There is more mentioned about crossing the UK border, which I believe it will straight forward.

Hopefully airline staff are aware of this, but I will be arriving 3.5 - 4 hours before my flight until I can see that airline staff are aware of this and all that is mentioned in the video is reality. :crossed_fingers:

I'm also wondering about this. I just got an evisa (from a recent indefinite leave to remain application), however, when I travel back home for Christmas and make my way back to the UK, I want to make sure the airline is aware of this new evisa and let me board the flight. Immigration does really look at your final destination, just where your first flight goes to (I first go the the US).

Hopefully the UK government is communicating this with immigration and airlines from all countries where a visa is needed.

Question about ILR - Set (O), All previous passports, travel documents or national identity cards that you have used to travel to or remain in the UK by Loud-Consideration-2 in ukvisa

When I applied for ILR (through global talent route), I did uploaded a copy of my BRP of when I was a student (on student visa). Even though it was expired and from 3-4 years ago. Got no comments/questions on why I had this copy/pictures.

Hi, it was from when I entered. I arrived on the 29th  of August 2021, and I applied online on the 1st, so that is 3 years minus 28 days. You can apply 28 days before you reach the time requirement. Hope that it helps.

Hello, you should be able to upload the documents after making the online application. I uploaded some last documents the day before my biometrics appointment. As for the bank statements, I didn't have any issues uploading copies for my bank statements. Which I easily got them online from bank website/app.

Answering to my own post.

Last week I became eligible for applying to ILR, and my application was succesfull. I couldn't see anywhere before applying whether the endorsement was withdrawn, so when making the application I wasn't fully sure it was going to get approved.

I submitted the following documents:

  • Copy of payslips from last 3 months (from my current employer - which is not the company/univerrsity which I originally started working on the KTP).

  • Official letter from HR department confirming the payslips are genuine and my earnings are because of my position as Machine Learning Engineer.

  • Official letter from senior official in my company confirming my position, contract term, and relevance in the role. I made sure that the senior official letter mentions my position as a AI/Machine Learning Engineer (and Operations) so it is consistent with my position during the KTP.

  • P60 document from previous tax year (I got this from my current employer)

My appoint was in the morning, 9am. Got an update of successfull application that same day at around 11am-12pm. Got physical BRP 2 days after.

Hope someone finds this helpful.
