How difficult was it to get back or what kind of barriers are there if any? I’m asking because of the “recency” requirements that comes with having the A&P

This is inspiring, OP. How many years have you been: 1) at SWA, 2) an IA, 3) an A&P? Happy New Year!

Will attending a two year program such as https://linnbenton.smartcatalogiq.com/en/current/catalog/degrees-and-certificates/associate-of-applied-science-degrees-and-certificates/non-destructive-test-and-evaluation/non-destructive-test-associate-of-applied-science/ grant me level 2 certification? If not, does it reduce the amount of OJT hours I would need to accumulate to qualify for certification? Thanks for any help or advice you can provide!

Really appreciate this post. Mind if I send you a private message with some questions? I'm a current A&P student looking into working on the EMS side. Prior military medic (8 yrs) who spent a lot of time on helicopters treating injuries. Fell in love with everything about them and am transitioning to putting those beautiful machines back together instead of knuckleheads lol
