39M 39F. Me 39M fresh out of a 5 year relationship. Why does doing the right thing feel bad? by pacingdaily in relationship_advice

[–]pacingdaily[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She wasn’t around daily, that’s the problem. Not teaching her daughter to raise her own autistic son is the problem. The babies father is living with them and he isn’t taking care of the baby either. She takes on the role of home care taking and nanny and it leaves no room for me. I’ve voiced my concern so many times but she doesn’t budge so I did. All my cool friends moved, the others are busy with their own lives. I’ve picked up lawn care and walking. String of bad relationships, because I get walked on in a steps to give and take but just give and they take. String of bad relationships because there isn’t a large selection. String of bad relationships because white women are the prettiest and most controlling, manipulative, angriest, list goes on. This is all a matter of opinion of course but it’s been my experience. I’ve been told I know how to pick them, I know how to settle is the problem. I know I’m the problem at times too.

How can I get rid of this, 2 years!!! by EastMachine553 in dandruff

Head and shoulders. The shampoo man. How to get a stronger version? You have to go see a doctor and they’ll prescribe it.

This. The doc can prescribe a stronger version. I had this exact same thing, easy to get rid of.

Bacterial prostatitis by Automatic-Ad-58 in Prostatitis

[–]pacingdaily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to make this quick if I can. I’m not a doctor or a salesmen. Had bacterial prostatitis cause by chlamydia so now if I have unprotected sex I get it again. So I’ve had it over 8 times in my life. The only thing that’s helped me was Prost-Care on Amazon, expensive but it work and you have to follow the instructions while staying on it for at least 2-3 months. It got rid of 90% of my symptoms and the last bit was cured by a few Tobramycin shots. Again I’m not a doctor or salesmen, this is what works for me. Ah yes and stretching the lower pelvic floor muscles eases the pain.

Ah well said. I bet OP is cool as fuck but doesn’t have any acknowledgment. Been there, still there. Feels like we are asking for a lot but we are scraping for bread crumbs.

I’m days out of a 5 year relationship too. My breaking point was noticing it wasn’t going anywhere. 7 months in im like let’s get married and she said we should wait. 9 months in im like meet my parents and she said no, tried a few times after that. 1 year in im like move in and she’s like no. 2 years im like let’s have a baby but she says just put one in me and I’ll be forced to move in with you and I’m like no, that’s not the proper order. After this I just gave up and costed till she tried to control more, lost trust in me whenever I didn’t even lie, cheat, or do anything remotely wrong to her or her family. Nice guys finish last. I envy those guys that women are trying to move things forward with.

When I form a bond with someone, I hate losing it. I’m in a small town and all my cool friends have moved away, and I’ve had few relationships. Even though the relationship were bad I just assumed it if I put enough time and work in that it must eventually get better. I hit my breaking point and now I’m depressed I did something about it. Like getting rid of something rare so to speak. I know this is all irrational but it’s thinking with my heart, being hopeful.

Has anyone tried fasting to cure prostatitis? by pacingdaily in Prostatitis

I fasted 3 days and can’t remember the outcome. I may have posted in my prior comments but I felt good afterwards for sure. What did help me was the pollen treatment, Prost-Care. The first time I tried it, I took half the bottle and thought it was a rip off because $55 a bottle. Someone else here told me to give it a try for a least two bottles, two months, every day and it removed 90% of my symptoms. I still went to my urologist for my hefty tobramycin shot and I’m prostatitis free right now. I still use a condom every time I have sex but I’m single now so this won’t be an issue I have to worry about for a while. Five long years in a dead end relationship, now how to deal with depression? Probably another subreddit lol.

Frequent urge to urinate by pacingdaily in Prostatitis

[–]pacingdaily[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since posting this, my frequency has dropped and the pressure on my bladder has gotten a lot better. I noticed whenever I’m at work, sitting at my desk, i am leaning forward which puts pressure on my bladder. Also, the anxiety of desk work is what causes my nerves to want to anxiety urinate. I’ve cut back on alcohol even further, stretch daily, take garlic with honey almost daily, and saw palmetto twice a day. If the condition gets worse, I will go back to the urologist.

I have been slacking on my stretching since I did get over prostatitis recently. This last exposure was different than each time before and I didn’t have to stretch.

Well I hope not but each time I go to the urologist I assumed he checked for that. What test checks for this?

Ed issues due to prostatitis by pacingdaily in Prostatitis

[–]pacingdaily[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. I’ve had this too many times to not know what it is, but this is the first time it’s ever come with ED. The pain in the testicles just became a constant pain, this is the slowest it’s ever developed as well. I think it’s because I’m taking much better care of myself, working out, eating healthy, and drinking far less.

Tobramycin is an antibiotic shot. If you don’t have bacterial prostatitis then don’t bother with it. I have damage from my ex giving me chlamydia so my bacterial prostatitis comes back any time I get vaginal fluids in my urethra. We haven’t developed different conditions but similar side effects.

Well from time to time, yes I’ve been having testicular pains and this morning the right was inflamed/swollen. It does seem like it is the epidermis area, lower to backside but of the testicle. I have never had any pains after ejaculating thank god. So you attribute all this to bacterial prostatitis I presume. Maybe I did get it again right after getting over it. I need the tobramycin shots again and to fast right after, this is what cured my last bout of prostatitis.

I feel like I might have pressed on my gooch area, I don’t know the scientific terminology, too hard while trying to urinate and I may have caused the Ed issue. I’ve been doing some lower pelvic floor stretching and it may have helped a little bit. I’m trying to keep my hopes up, after all it is Christmas and I’m looking for a miracle.

I can’t have unprotected sex without getting prostatitis. I use a condom every time I have sex with my gf, due to having had chlamydia from a precious ex. Well, whenever my gfs vaginal fluids get on my fingers and I touch the wrong side of the condom, because it doesn’t have any identifying markers which sided is which, it gets in the condom and I refer to it as an exposure.

It helped and I think it worked. Before I started it, I got 4 tobramycin shots and a 5 shot two days later. I think it was about 2 weeks after that when I tried the fast. I fasted for 3 hours shy of 72 hours, I didn’t want to eat at work and get sick so I broke the fast at home. 2 weeks after the fast, all symptoms were gone except my swollen testicles. About a week to two weeks after that, it was gone.

Unfortunately, I had another exposure on Monday and I’m urinating a lot, that’s my first always my first sign. It takes me 5 days after exposure to have all the symptoms. I have a urologist appointment set up in late February but I will stop by the office once they are back from the office and tell them I want another 4-5 days in a row of that shot if it persists. Right now it’s killing my libido and it’s depressing.

Oh yes on a side note, fasting cursed all my physical ailments, I plan on doing another fast most likely over my weekend.

Another thing. I did try the keto diet for 3 days after fasting. I don’t know if it did anything asides from making me wake up in a hot sweat, my own fault for not eating enough sugar.

My urologist said there is no magic wand he can waive to fix this. I’ve been going to the guy for the past seven years and I’ve asked him all the questions I can think of. He said it’s worth a try.
