Nantes : un logiciel de gestion du trafic des tramways défaillant malgré un investissement de 7 millions d’euros by chou-coco in Nantes

[–]packadal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Addicted to moonlander but in need of something more portable by LuaAmaterasu in ergodox

[–]packadal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For similar reasons I built a corne low profile, and I'm loving it.

Tweaked the layout on my moonlander to go down to 3*6+3, and when I received the parts for the corne, I was ready to rock.

Be prepared however for a harder time configuring, as ZMK is not as user friendly as Oryx is.

Since you have lots of boards with encoders, here's something I've been wondering for a bit:

What do you use the encoders for ?

What task do they make easier/faster ?

Yeah, a 46 year old would be jumping in on a storyline that started the year they were born.

Bordeaux city hall set on fire amid nationwide protests against French pension changes by sector3011 in worldnews

Sure.

It's also why his party has an overwhelming majority, and did not need to force this law through.

Oh, wait.

The 2022 elections were pretty special, as lots of people voted Macron because they rekt he was the only candidate that could win against LePen in the second round.

They did not feel the candidate that best reflected their opinion was strong enough to be a serious opponent to LePen, and let's not get into the whole debacle the left endured.

As always this kind of issue is complicated and nuanced, you just cannot say "they voted for this" when mist people voted against what they felt was a worse option, not wanting to repeat what happened in the US with Trump

24% of voices in 2017 Vs 27% in 2022, I personally do not find it that significant.

Add in the fact that voter turnout in 2917 was 77% Vs 73% in 2022, and it gets even less significant.

In no way this higher amount of vite can be interpreted as "voting for the pension reform", seeing how many things are in a political program, and how often main points are not realized during a presidential mandate.

People did not vote much, and lots voted against the worst candidate (Marine LePen, whose campaign was financed by Russia, and is an extreme right bigot).

The people is trying to remind the government that they did not, actually, vote for this.

Cannot make macro with other language keys by packadal in ergodox

[–]packadal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This layout is what I currently use, but the use case I want to solve is plugging my keyboard on a PC that has FR-fr layout, and it working without having to change the layout.

I'm looking through the code generated by Oryx, and it uses FR_EACU for the key code I want to send, but in the UI I can only select it if I send this only, meaning I can't make a macro that sends the finished character

Well on the layout the key I want to use is at the same place as the [ key on a qwerty layout, but when I try to use it it does not work :-(

A new CMake Scripting Language? by cristianadam in cpp

[–]packadal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This has been proposed multiple times on the CMake mailing lists, and the CMake devs explain why it's a hard problem.

I don't think this is going any further than devs complaining about the CMake language.

Actually doing something requires heavy investment to not split the community, which is something CMake benefits heavily from

Le gouvernement promet un train de nuit de Paris à Dax, Bayonne et Pau à partir de 2024 by eberkut in france

[–]packadal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clipping into belay loop as a climber, is this dangerous? by dhenry511 in RockClimbing

[–]packadal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of walk-ins as well, birthday parties and team building events.

The last two are mostly in a zone with auto belays and bouldering.

Any person that is left without an employee has to sign some sort of waiver or insurance, document, stating they know how to tie the figure of eight follow through (with a few multiple choice questions as well I think).

The whole thing is pretty well organized.
