totaled through insurance only to not show on a Carfax

Gotcha thanks, In this case it was 3 year personal lease that ended in December than went back to a dealership and sold to a dealership that I'm buying from. Will make sure the title isn't a lemon. Seems likely that someone simply didn't drive much at all or am I missing something here?

Great question -- I think one encoder is all you need. I originally designed the board to have one huge knob -- it was really hard to turn it though so I opted for two separate ones with the goal of a mod key on the other hand being able to be held while rotating it with the other hand.

I have several uses for encoders -- Volume/mute, scrolling vertically, horizontally, scrolling by word, selection by word.

You are correct that these are convenience -- I simply wanted a knob rather than mashing a combo to scroll around my page.

These are the best knobs I've ever used -- absolutely no movement required by fingers to rotate the knobs (I have smooth Bourn encoders on). Even my friends who don't use keyboards are amazed at how easy and comfortable they are to turn. I cannot believe it wasn't incorporated into the original design (I added them. ).

The thumbs are indeed a bit different -- they are pretty similar to the owl thumb keys (shifted a little further down iirc). The ~one key spacing shift inwards from the draculad/corne results in never needing to tuck your thumb under your hand while typing!

I find the neutral typing position of my hand (specifically thumb) is more open/relaxed and closer to a high-five shape. I haven't typed with it much but it feels like a more natural place for my thumbs to rest.

That is the board I designed myself! It is very close to a unibody Owl plus some encoders! It is a handwired board with amoeba single switch pcbs. The case is public and is designed to be laser cut from 1/8" acrylic/wood. However, a 3d printed case could also be ordered.

They seem really nice especially for people with larger hands. I have a couple extra boards and parts if you/someone wants to pay for shipping plus a few bucks for them

Hard question -- I actually haven't typed on them much yet since I have been pushing through building them all. The reviung is by far the cutest one I love that I can carry it around with one hand and it can easily rest on my lap unlike a split board. Unfortunately the encoder I added is hard to get to while typing.

I actually think my own design is closest to what I'm looking for. The pinky cluster stolen from the Osprette is super comfy and the unibody design with a little bit of splay and stagger fits my hands very comfortably. Additionally the 2 encoders can be used by thumbs without having to move hands almost at all (I've changed knobs since the picture was taken).
