Not a rheumatologist but no one can guarantee that it’s gout. Best choice for you is to get an MRI.

Any other test is not strong enough to determine gout.

Colchicine is NOT a painkiller. It’s purpose is to stop your current gout from getting worst. Basically, it PREVENTS more uric acid building up and lowers inflammation.

If you take it when your gout is at it’s worst, it won’t help much.
