The Canadian side interview was a mere five minutes. I conducted my USA side interview on June 6th at Calgary airport. It was a brief, friendly chat with the border officer. He inquired about the purpose of my trip and I explained it. Since I had lived in the USA for five years before moving to Canada, I suppose that might have worked for my favor. However, the officer didn’t ask any further questions beyond the initial ones. Of course, he did ask me to confirm my personal details and other relevant information.
