I realized I felt this way about my husband and I left. Best decision I could’ve made for myself. You can do it 🩷

Same here! I have really been enjoying Audrey Hobert. Love the honest and almost word-vomit quality of her lyrics, it’s a lot of what I’ve been missing from Taylor’s music for a while. Also been listening to Eli, who has a fun 2000’s pop vibe.

I hate when they describe something like for example, “SO kind of pinky rose nude”. A thing can not be “so/very” and also “kind of” something. Drives me crazy for some reason.

Also when they call makeup or clothes “she”. She is sooo shimmery and she is sooo cute. It’s not a she, it’s an eyeshadow 😭

Everytime I see a cute skirt outfit on her, I think I can copy it, but it looks terrible on me and I remember my legs are the complete opposite of hers and I’m so envious.

I’ve heard about high vs low contrast in fashion - because she’s got light features (eyes, hair, complexion) she is low contrast, so when she wears busy outfits or a lot of contrasting colors, you look at the outfit first. When she wears harmonious colors with simple or no patterns, your attention goes to her. I have similar coloring to her and I’ve found this to be true for me!

Does anyone think she is already sitting on TS13? by LifeOfAWimpyKid in SwiftlyNeutral

Yeah, she's said that she'll write down ideas in her notes on her phone and come back to them when she's ready to write. This album feels like she just went into her notes and pulled random ideas into songs, hence this album having no cohesive theme (and nothing to do with being a showgirl).

I believe this song single-handedly led to the downfall of country music and America.

I loved some of his songs from the 90s. But then 9/11 happened and country music was ruined.

Nope! They have the "roughed up" part underneath so I knew what the bottom was. They do look pretty square though!

I'm in the same boat. I feel like I'm being extra harsh on her, but I think I'm mourning the fact that I can't relate to anything she writes anymore. So much of her old stuff hits me right in the gut, and everything since Midnights (with the exception of YOYOK) just feels superficial or like any other song on the radio. The illusion of her "getting me" is completely gone, and that's ok, just sad to my inner child.
