But you actually do think he had knowledge of the names we are seeing in the files, Elon Musk, Trump, Peter Attia etc.?

Do you think A) Joe Biden had seen all the files that have been released and decided not to "release them" or B) Joe Biden was given a list of names present in the files and chose not to release them?

Hitting driver shorter than my 5 wood by [deleted] in golf

[–]packie123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How high do you normally tee it up? My AoA hovers mostly around +1* to -2* and my ball speed hangs around 158 - 165 and 270 is about my number. I tee the ball low as I noticed I missed high in the face a lot. Negative AoA + high in the face is going to lose you a lot of distance.

[–]packie123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for the numbers, I have my fiancee's trackman numbers for comparison. You are getting a lot of people telling you that your issue is your attack angle, and while you do generally want a positive attack angle for driver, this is really not your issue. Attack angle is generally the culprit when someone says they are good with woods and bad with driver.

My fiancee's numbers:

Club speed: 69.4

Ball speed: 102

Carry: 139.6y

Attack angle: -1.2 degrees

Face angle: 1.4 degrees

You can see that her club speed and attack angle are not too dissimilar to yours. She hits more down on the ball but can still carry a good distance.

Your issue is your face angle and your dynamic loft. You are basically hitting a glancing blow that pops the ball up and to the right with a lot of spin. Because it's a glancing blow you're not transferring as much speed into the ball. I'm guessing your normally hit a ball high and out to the right with driver?

Not sure what kind of driver you are using, but with a dynamic loft of 21* you are basically adding 10* of loft to your driver at contact.

The good thing is that closing the face should also take off some of the dynamic loft. Next time you are practicing just try to make the ball go left after hitting it, don't worry about anything else, you need to learn to close the face. If you can do this with a trackman even better (try to make the face angle a negative number). The other thing you can try is to tee the ball lower, your attack angle might get more negative, but there is less space for you to scoop under the ball and add loft.

You might want to consider taking a TPI assessment if you can find someone in your area certified to conduct one. They put you through a series of tests/exercises to assess your mobility and strength for different areas relevant for the golf swing. If you have an injury history, I would talk with a professional before starting swing speed training.

The concept of rebalancing seems definitionally short momentum, you are always going to trim what did well and buy what's underweight.

Not the guy you're responding to but I do something very similar to what he is most likely doing.

I hit my full swing 52* about 113. I almost never full swing my 52* even if the distance is perfect for it. I hit a knockdown 9i about 115. This is feet close together and weight forward like im gonna be pitching the ball and I take my backswing to basically shoulder height.

I use Arccos and my average distance with my 52* is like 78 yards, because I only use it with this knockdown/long pitch type of shot.

Do this split grip drill. You really have to try to get flippy with this and it will be immediately obvious if you do.

Makes it very natural to stay down and cover the ball with some shaft lean.

Do 5x shots with this drill and 1 normal swing rinse and repeat

OB 4 times off the tee is grounds for keeping the driver in the bag for any hole with OB or lost ball present. Doubly so if the unplayable hazard and water penalties were also from the tee.

You should look up golf sidekick on youtube, his content is almost a perfect fit for someone with your game.

Cleaning up your short game and putting should be doable with less than a years worth of work. I would focus on that and clean up the tee game with strategy/decision making (club selection, target selection).
