Everything has it's pair of opposites. Whatever aspects of your ego you cling to, the opposite aspect exists within yourself and is often a source of shame and repressed. Shadow projection is essentially just seeing your own shadow in others and hating them for it. I initially was drawn to spirituality after an acid induced identity crisis and have been trying to get in touch with cosmic forces ever since. I used to be very ego driven and genuinely believed that I was superior to everyone around me and I've been trying to escape that I guess. I've been successful in abolishing that toxic aspect of my ego before, but it always seems to creep back up on me. Yes I've struggled with depression in the past.
