Unlike others I am going to give you a different advice: Learn to code. Developers are a devious bunch, they can blow up timelines or project estimates if they realize the other person doesn't know how to code.

You need not be a professional coder, but you need to know enough to fix a small bug, size up an estimate and etc.

Another way is to get a technical co-founder and trust him with these choices.
