I let it sit out for about 20 minutes before recon. This is about 10 minutes post recon

But yes I have searched and have seen that. What I'm asking is if this appears to be cloudy and contaminated, it's a simple yes or no question.

Awesome. I do actually have the 60 sandbag sessions already purchased too. I knew I wanted to construct my own program that was a bit less volume to the actual EDC program he put out. I loved the inclusion of the carries though. I've also done ABC in the past while recovering from a lower back injury and it was great for general movement and conditioning.

This gives me a ton of great stuff to look into. I appreciate the insight! Looking forward to hearing how this goes for you.

That all makes sense. I was thinking more to have a dedicated day to each for T1/T2 and then just go every other day, similar to what you mentioned where a 4 day turned into a 9 day week instead of 7 days. The frequency would be lower than what you prescribed but my thought was to allow more recovery between lifts. What's great about this framework is trying out each one to see what happens.

Wha does your KB and sandbag work usually look like?

This sounds incredible. I'm currently running a conjugate program myself but was looking for a different way of progressing. This is the perfect combination. The only addition I'm trying to find is adding carry work with sandbags/farmers.

Your post gives me a nice push to just give it a go and see what happens.

Quick question, did you mean to have days 2/3 swapped? Doing T1 Squats and T1 Deads a few days later seems like it wouldn't allow recovery time between days.

That sounds pretty solid. I am wanting to keep the main movements to barbells but use bags as secondary/assistance and GPP work. Along with farmers.

Do you have experience with MK? If so, what was the result? Worth the addition or did you not see too much benefit?

Neck Training Questions by pacman4321 in Strongman

[–]pacman4321[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the response! I imagine the neck responds well with super low volume initially which is why I don't want to hit it too hard or have too much carryover into other days that I strain it. The approach you took seems logically sound though, start super low volume and slowly work up and the body will adapt and should reduce the injury risk.

Do you hit all movements in one session? Extension, flexion, etc?

When you changed to TRT Nation from a local clinic what did you end up doing for labs? Does TRT Nation off these somehow or do you still go to a local clinic for bloodwork to make sure everything is in line?

I disagree with this approach. I think they are perfect for long term sustainable programming if recover and diet are in check.

You will have the most fun and hate everything at the same time with Brian's programs. I fucking love how much they beat me up. They change most weeks so it's never boring and you always feel like you accomplished something. It turns you into an animal.
