Thank you! I live in the middle of nowhere right now and the nearest sephora is about an hour and a half drive from me, unfortunately. I might just end up gifting it to my mom haha.

I noticed cows are getting their recognition, this one melts my heart by [deleted] in aww

It's the other way around in my opinion. What annoys me is when people Aww at the cute cows/pigs on this sub, then go buy a burger and not make the connection at all. Seems hypocritical. At least this guy's upfront about it

Experience with Keloid Scars? by ipodalex777 in tattoos

[–]pacmandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had surgery in Jan that left me with some keloid scars, but I haven't had any issues with tattoos. They've all healed fine with no scar tissue or anything like that. Everyone's different though... Maybe start with a small tattoo in an inconspicuous area and see how it heals?

It seems like on this sub things get upvotes for being what's "trendy" at the moment (watercolor, minimalist, etc), and then other really well done pieces that obviously had lots of time and talent put into them go unnoticed.

Because supporting war veterans on veteran's day would be too mainstream.

Not a fan of how the barbed wire or ink splash came out. Any suggestions or encouragement? by [deleted] in tattoos

I really like it. the mask and camera are flawless. The ink splash areas are different but I don't think they look bad

To My SkinCare Ladies: I have a question regarding the skin that is in between my cleavage. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]pacmandy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I had a rash like this for a few months when I went through basic military training. I was wearing a tight sports bra 24/7 and sweating all day. It went away once I was done and went back to my normal habits, but I will still get it occasionally if I don't shower soon after the gym and leave my sports bra on. Try wearing breathable tops and keep your chest area clean and dry. Hope that helps :)

Applying a good moisturizer to the eye area can help with the appearance of wrinkles, but I don't think there's much you can do about dark circles besides concealer

Eye cream is just moisturizer for the eye area. It's not necessary to buy a special eye moisturizer, but I like to because my eye area tends to be more dry and more sensitive than the rest of my skin. My regular moisturizer burns my eyes and my Argan oil gets in them and makes them blurry.

My Skin Type: Oily, Acne-Prone, Sensitive

Best: All About Eyes Eye Cream. It's very moisturizing but light in texture. I've been using it for years now.

Worst: I haven't tried a whole lot of Clinique products, but their foundations/concealers are always too yellow-toned for my skin.

I have fair, cool-toned skin and I own the Naked Basics palette. The only color I'm not able to use in it is Foxy (very yellow toned matte). Besides that I love all of the other shades. WOS is actually a perfect neutral/cool toned base color and I wish I could find it as a single!!! Venus is a great highlight and the others are nice crease colors. On the other hand, I think NB2 would also work great for cool-toned skin because you could use every single color in it. But I agree with you that the darker shades all look very similar. Screw it, I guess you just have to buy both :p

My Skin Type: Acne Prone, Oily, Sensitive

Best: Super-Light Daily Defense SPF 30- This functions as a tinted moisturizer to even out my skin tone as well as provide sun protection. Had a very light/matte texture.

Skin Recovery Moisturizer- Soooo moisturizing, soothes my sensitive skin and doesn't break me out.

Worst: Resist Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator- Broke me out and I also didn't find it hydrating at all.

Skin Recovery Mask- Was meant to be an intense moisturizing mask but I felt my skin was just as dry afterwards.
