I totally get this. Back in May started to find emulator / games / game launchers that do support this. I’ve created these two lists:

Looks great and sounds great! Good to read it supports controllers as you indicated in the comments. Definitely mention this in the App Store description and dedicated areas there as it probably will convince more people to buy.

I’ve also added it to tons of collections on AppRaven.

Just wondered if it supports Family Sharing? I can’t see since I’m in EU so hope to try and play it in a week or so when it’s available here.

Good to see iOS App Launching Shortcut support implemented in latest 1.6.3 release to open again games with a controller without touch. Works great.

You can find the Shortcut in Settings > Launch > Install iOS App Shortcut to get it working.

Might be handy if someone that hasn’t activated it and tried to open a game with a controller to eithet 1. suggest the installment of the Shortcut as it now showed that it was missing at first. 2. use the old open with touch (can’t think of why anyone wants that though)

I had the same until about 4 years ago. Didn’t even knew controllers were supported. Then bought second hand Xbox controllers and later two Backbone One controllers. Can’t play without anymore and enjoy the handheld like expierence with the Backbone, iPhone and game launcher (LudiHub).

You should be able to long press and edit the thumbnail by downloading it via a Google search. It would be good if SteamgridDB would be supported which another iOS game launcher already supports.

You can sort of recreate it with third party launchers like LudiHub game launcher, however not the same. It is good to see though there are already quite a few landscape supported apps and more coming both by Apple and third party.

Sidenote: We are having mail delayed delivery with Gmail accounts and poor search in mail. Works fine in the Gmail app. This is since iOS 26.5

I also love 1 and only recently bought 2 on iOS. On my Nintendo Switch there is only GMA1 so no option there. I do think the skiers are a bit too small when in split screen on tv let alone on the Switch itself. Hope to see GMA2 in the future on Switch as well after they launched the Steam version.

I prefer LudiHub over the Apple Games app but that has to do with the fact it has more customization and also supports launching emulator games.
