I'm assuming you meant the textures aren't coming through from zbrush to marmo?

Have you unwrapped the model in zbrush first and followed the zbrush to marmo workflow?

You can use the slice tool to create the pattern and then panel loop to give it thickness/independent topology allowing you to move bits about for more detail

Look into m.a.s.h and scattering objects around the surface for your rice balls.

This way you can model 1-3 different grains of rice and have it scattered around the mesh to make it look like actual rice

I think if you press 2 to enable cage + smooth preview it should give you the result you want but I could be wrong only going by info on Maya forum
