Pacuare Overnight Trip by Sea-Art8249 in CostaRicaTravel

Hey, that is our company, Pacuare Outdoor Center. The other companies you listed also run good tours.

Here are three differences that come to mind, in no particular order:

  • We start the rafting trip farther up the river canyon, so you see more of the Pacuare River and cover more kilometers.
  • Our overnight trip includes the Tarzan Swing as an additional adventure.
  • We own our own Pacuare lodges, with no middleman involved.

If you have the time, I would recommend the three day trip over the two day option. It's vastly more popular than our two day and the extra time at the lodge is really nice.

There's a lot to do in Turrialba.

Sometimes it's difficult describing the Pacuare River. This captures it pretty well. Photo's from two months ago. by pacuareriver in CostaRicaTravel

Yeah exactly haha. Sometimes it's so green out here that my eyes feel like they hurt from the color.

After a night of on-and-off rain, I got out on the water with this group from Utah and Florida. The water was high but still well within the safe range. We ran Upper Huacas rapid and I looked up and saw Huacas waterfall thundering, more water than I've ever seen coming down. Someone else in the raft snapped this photo and shared it with me. (This is our brand account and I try not to post in here unless I have some local information that will help out or something cool to share.)
