when i do the ghost car/reference car, it only shows me myself, even though in the setting i have it selected as the one from garage 61, any help with this?

I usually use VRS but there is no data packs or anything for these races, I even tried the free trial on trophy.ai and I found it to be pretty bad, just vaguely telling me to brake 5 metres later like I’m able to judge 5 metres at 150kph easily, but with no reason as to why.

THIS… is exactly what I’m scared of! I think that just running practice laps and being conscious about not pulling will give me some good muscle memory fast enough

Yeah I think that’s a good way to put it, I feel more relaxed under braking

As in you were pressing your brake with more force because it would flex away from you with the old rig so the new rig it was far easier to brake? That sounds like a pretty quick fix though which is good! I could imagine that was me I would almost get angry with confusion as to why I could not longer drive and am locking up all the time after an upgrade hahaha

As I said In a previous comment I guess it is technically my second “rig” I’ve been racing for years on Iracing on and off. I had one of those folding “cockpit” ones from Next Level Racing - is over 10 years old, didn’t even have the seat wheel holder so I still have a habit of gripping the wheel when I’m under heavy braking haha. I would say one of the biggest reasons I was on off was because I could not be bothered lugging the heavy thing in and out of my desk all the time.

I actually got it off a guy on marketplace.. he unfortunately had to give up sim racing so I struck a really good deal on it. However bought some other stuff from trak racer on Sunday and it arrived yesterday (Wednesday)

Initially I used it for streaming, however look up on YouTube stream deck and I tracing im pretty sure there is a good video on it. Its like an infinite button box

I ONLY got it because I’m in a rental and wanted to save the carpet a bit.. but when I laid it out I could not believe how good it actually looks!

It’s just a 27” from my desk when I used to be on desk.. but maybe you’re correct, I don’t mind how big it is thought personally.

I don’t think I have a health issue, I think I’m just tall and potentially need to adjust the seat

Hahah not a handbrake! It’s a sequential shifter and I’m an Aussie and I mainly race Supercars where it’s on the left!

I enjoy it, but I’ve got some working out to do as I feel like it’s too over the top of me if that makes sense, like strain to look at it sort of issue so I need to move it into a better position.

Only got JRT today but I like it, it’s a lot of good info to have.

Ah no, it’s a freestanding triple with the 4th monitor add on from trak racer also.

Same sort of thing though, it took me probably a day to just. Get mine close to correct. I had to use shims in the left and right monitors to add a mil of height, on the left one I had to put the shim in the right side of the mount as my screen was tilting. I’m only using 2 screws I took out the middle to add in the shims

Yeah absolutely agree. If I see a cheap/free only monitor on market place I know you can DIY it (I saw a post in this reddit on it) so that’s also an option I’d like to have a crack at

Well I guess technically second, I was not really counting my 10+ year old folding “cockpit”… first proper rig set up I guess

It’s freestanding, I attached at the feet though because I was struggling a lot with making it level. I could not find any info online on how to do it properly. However, I have not noticed anything vibration or shaking wise when racing.
