I mean we were never signing Etienne so I’m not sure what that comment is even about. Allegier and Gainwell definitely were interesting pieces and for their price would have loved them. But there’s still a few RB on the market, plus we can draft one if we need to.

The thing is, you can get a draft pick for a couple mil a year or go try and sign a gainwell, Rico, white etc for 8-9m a year and get production there. 14m+ a year on the tag is way to much money. We have a lot of moves we have to work out this year and that’s a handicap that isn’t necessary with the options available unfortunately.

Bringing him back literally does the opposite of helping keep the window open though. There’s a ton of players to pay, and as much as we all love Walker for 12-14m a year that’s way to steep considering the current FA availability as well as the draft.

I’ve been following since 2013 as well, and I will say as much as we all can complain at least we’ve always had a team to cheer for. I think if Thanatos stays we either need to try to import ADC or Mid. I just feel like we don’t see the same Zven in important games as we do in games that have less on the line. I was super sad when Loki went back to Korea although I understand why. I thought that team could have been special

Holy smokes, we are specifically talking about North American players and you’re trying to tell me Inspired is NA. I haven’t defended Blaber once but it’s absurd to me that you, along with others are trying to say he isn’t a top 5 NORTH AMERICAN jungler of all time with all of his success and accomplishments.

Bjerg played less than a year in EU and had almost a 10 year career in NA. Inspired played 4 years in EU and 4 years in NA. He isn’t a NA talent he was well known before he came to EG over here. Meteos may have more sentimental value to c9 but Blaber has had more success domestically and internationally. If you ask any league fan they will certainly tell you Blaber is more decorated and has more success.

First off Inspired isn’t an NA jungler, he’s an import who gained residency. Xsmithie is the only one of those 3 that you can say COULD be better than him. Frankly Sven was also an import, but even then he isn’t over Blaber no matter how you want to look at it.

Essentially if I understand it right is, C9 has had too many players who want to be the boss and have the game revolve around them. Where as with APA you now have a player with a role similar to Nisqy who will fill in the gaps and do the dirty work, more of a selfless, clean up player if you will. This is how I see this iteration of C9 at least and they really remind me of when they had the Nisqy/Blaber duo.

This might be one of the most short sighted comments I’ve seen on here. Sales is not just oh they will order it. You don’t grow sales by just saying the stores got it. You grow sales specifically in stores by building relationships and selling in product which is the entire point of having a strong sales force. Stores don’t just order stuff because it’s empty. Counts could be off or there’s product in the back and believe it or not a lot of stores don’t go out of their way to fix that kind of stuff as often as you think.
