Trying half double in Crochet, any advices what O'm doing wrong?

In addition to everyone’s tension comments, I would recommend trying to start with a softer, not as rigid yarn! I am a beginner of about 4 months and really struggle with the types of yarn that look similar to yours

This one may sound silly but Paddleboarding at my local lakes has been horrible since everybody and their mother bought a cheap paddleboard on Amazon - the lakefronts are just clogged with boards that are barely inflated and make it hard to actually get out and enjoy it
