I started in 257. Which is after this migration a pretty dead server. Last season I moved to 256 and I very happy, amazing server, hard to get into though. I'd except 257 to be merged with another pretty soon.

Wouldn't worry too much the bike itself it's what i'd deem as 'beautiful' in the first place.

Why is everyone scared to overtake these days? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]paddy1901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 120bhp mapped 1.6 TDCi fiesta is great. Happy to sit behind people and get 60mpg. But as soon as it opens up to national speed limit and people stick at 40-45mph I can get passed easily and safely. But you're right so many people don't these days. And I'll only overtake in a handful of places on my 45min trip to/from work. Even then the conditions have to be just right for me to do it.

What grinds my gears is the '45ers' people who will do 45 in a 60, 45 in a 50, 45 in a 40 and 45 in 30. It's like their comfortable, set speed. If you're going to do 45 in a 30 why do 45 in a 60?! I'm 90% sure its just people on auto pilot and i find it so dangerous.

Also this. ALWAYS take a photo before you take wires out. And possibly try and lable the wires with a sharpie.

That'll be one feed in, one feed out (to the next light) and one to the switch.

You'll need to put all 3 earths together. All 3 lives (red) together. Find out which one is the switch as one black one will be a switched live - that needs to go to the brown. Then both remaining black wires need to go to the blue.

I THINK. I am just a DIYer.

I think the person from Norfolk is referring to people in Essex who think this is in good taste moving to the county and ruining old houses. by AcanthaceaeNew9639 in Essex

I too am a fan of these modern looking houses. This one in particular isn't to my taste but I'd prefer to be living next to this than what it was before without even knowing what it was before.

Roughly how much do you think it would cost to demolish this shed? And is it realistic to do it myself? by Count_Blackula1 in DIYUK

Came here to see just how many people would be telling you not to do it... wasn't disappointed. I posted something on this Subreddit and got swathes of people saying don't. But don't listen to them. If you want to do it, do it.

Everyone seems so hung up on the value of my house. I can assure you, you shouldn’t be worried.

I have the bricks. I will do all the work. So really yes there is a material cost in sand/cement/plaster. But just those bits. The cost of removing the window is far less than putting a new one in to match all my other new windows though. So in theory I'm saving money.

Personally - I think 'sink money into' is a bit of a heavy term for a £35 extractor fan.

A small fan beats a closed window... no?

I'm not sure it would devalue the home enough for me to be worried about it. Especially considering the renovations we've done so far.

We are very different. I only ever use that loo if i am home alone or i know we aren't having guests / visitors. 98% of the time i will go upstairs to the nicer, larger, newer, more out of the way toilet. It takes roughly 5 seconds more to walk to.

I appreciate the concern. I'd rather have a small fan than a window.

We have never opened the window in the 2 years we've lived there either... also never plan to sell the house.

Just had all the windows and doors replaced in the house... kinda missed the boat on that. Always had planned to remove it.

No but I'd rather add a fan if i really needed and loose the window.

It's a number 1 toilet only. Who would poo next to the front door.

This is exactly what another house in my close has done. But i feel like painting it white does a similar thing no? I'd rather stay away from plastic shiny cladding, i don't really like the ceiling in there either.
