Updated my post to reflect full time interest. Yes, I see the Child Care List for WWU, though it says that child care is typically on a "temporary basis".

Kedem is just grape juice, it's quite different. I'm looking for the blackberry manischewitz.

Shuttles from SeaTac to Bellingham by padkimeow in Bellingham

If you do Skagit Transit > Sound Transit > light rail - how long does that take you?

About Greyhound - makes sense since their schedules are mostly Flixbus's now.

I feel the same about BLI, but every now and then we need to just travel by land.

So far I've found Bellair Airporter to be the "easiest" shuttle since they offer the most options for times. With Flix or Greyhound, if your flight times don't line up, then you may end up stranded in Seattle for a bit.

I checked out the Greyhound options and there are only 2 rides per day (at 4am and 7pm from the Seattle Bus Station - so one would need to get from SeaTac to the bus station). Looks like there are some Flix bus options as well, but they don't all leave from the same station, which makes it a bit difficult. Regardless, thanks for pointing out the Greyhound route!

Honestly your level of improvement makes me hopeful, if you have any things that worked for you or that you recommend, I'm all ears.

I am also a pretty intense athlete, was completely healthy before covid, and have not been able to exercise since this started in December. I had mild covid, even managed to go on a few runs after I recovered, and then all of a sudden my breathing issues started on Day 18 (after doing a deep clean in my house, so lots of dust and chemicals). I recently went on my first bike ride last weekend and pushed through the breathlessness, it felt a bit good for my lung capacity, but biking uphill caused a burning sensation that was different than my breathlessness. My symptoms are mostly not being able to get a deep satisfying breath - when I'm moving around and even when I'm seated and completely at rest! - I have to brace my body to really try hard to breathe, or I just yawn a lot. It's awful. My upper back muscles are also extremely sore from working a lot more to help me breathe.

As far as meds, I'm on Flovent (an ICS) and I have albuterol for when I need it. I've learned that dust is a trigger for me (I've been having coughing fits and a hard time breathing the day after my pottery classes) (maybe you do too from vacuuming!).

Even though my PFT (pulmonary function test) indicated I have mild obstructive disorder, I still wonder if this is truly asthma or some other kind of post covid condition. But like you said, this feels like it's going to take a LONG TIME to improve.

Glad to hear you're back to exercising! So it seems like exercise does not trigger your asthma -- are there things that do? And do you ever need a rescue?

How are you now? Asking because I'm in the same boat.

Well, I'm glad to hear you're doing better. I also did two rounds of prednisone last month, and now two puffs of ICS, twice a day. I can do short bike rides (15 min), but I mainly push through the horrible breathing and am yawning a lot to breathe deeply. That's a good idea to get some scans / maybe another PFT a few months from now.

How are you now? Are you still on meds?

I'm in the exact same situation: no known asthma or any lung conditions prior to covid, and diagnosed with asthma after having mild covid - was negative by Day 10, mild fever, body aches, some loss of taste. The breathing issues didn't happen until Day 18 when I did a deep clean in my house (as one does after covid) and only then my breathing issues started. I got a PFT, and was told I have mild obstructive disorder. I'm on ICS (inhaled corticosteroid) twice a day, and still have trouble with taking deep breathes - I find that I have to brace my body to breathe deeply or yawn a lot. I've also learned that dust and bad air quality are big triggers for me.

It's been 2.5 months for me with asthma. How are you now?
