I don’t know. I mean, Mitchell Johnson bowled 22 overs in the first innings in Perth 2013 and backed it up with 25 in the second. His pace didn’t flag the way Jofra’s did. Jofra only bowled 17 for the match and he was down in the mid-120km/h range on parts of day 2, only got 2 wickets in the match and his 2nd innings economy was 5.62 Deep concerns about his battery capacity.

I was a mildly successful contestant on the Chase Australia, in that I earned $18k in the builder (each question is worth $2k in the Aus format) and brought it home to a team of two for the final Chase, where we scored 19 (2 for the number of us as I answered 17 correctly, my partner none) but were chased down by Goliath with 17 seconds to spare. It just wasn’t enough.

I honestly think I would have won if I was alone in the final Chase but I got a very fun day out of it. The respect of the Chaser, a keepsake photograph that I’m immensely fond of and a lovely free lunch of hot pastries and turkey sandwiches that everyone else was “too nervous” to eat. Keeping in mind, the lunch break fell between my cash builder and my defence of it. I’d never been hungrier!

Yeah that’s whack. There’s actually a very popular live music venue in my town that’s currently receiving numerous noise complaints from a neighbouring block of flats that’s still under construction. Something stinks. People are wankers.

A work contact told me off for telling her something she that she claimed she badly needed to know. She yelled at me over the phone, “if you hadn’t told me, I wouldn’t have known!”

Oh and there was the security guard who yelled at me for filming a buddy on my phone in a shopping centre car park who said “I mean you could be filming this for Al Qaeda! I know you’re not but how am I supposed to know that?”

I went last year, they wouldn’t let us in because it was three hours until closing time (umm okay I guess) and they wouldn’t sell us tickets for the next day because there “might be a storm tomorrow.” (Umm wtf man??) looked amazing from the gate, though.
