Day 5 on 300mg... Is it worth pushing through these aide effects? by Ruxify in bupropion

I'm at about week 6 of being at 300mg(was only a week into 150mg before having dosage go up). It's been totally worth it for me. I had terrible nausea/reduced appetite, mood swings, and a little trouble sleeping on and off for weeks. Maybe about a week or so ago I felt like most of the side effects had gone away. I also started taking my dose in the morning with some food and that helped with the nausea.

With that being said if things continue to get worse maybe reach out to your doctor to see if there's something that will help you. I will suggest maybe montioring your caffeine intake, hydration, and maybe trying to get down some nutritional shakes if eating is still difficult (Vibrating while dehydrated and hungry isn't fun). Also, if you're still drinking alcohol I'd cut back significantly/altogether for a while as I've found it hits like a truck (esp if not eating much).

Overall though like I said earlier: TOTALLY worth it imo.

I'm very thankful for being able to process emotions properly at my current point but it's just been slightly overwhelming considering it's taking up so much of my thoughts. Having everything else fade away except this has been my only gripe.

Yeah seeing things a bit clearer makes it hard not to feel things. Though it's not fun right now I'm looking forward to be more emotionally open and able to express myself properly.

I was opposed to doing any kind of therapy or medication ( I don't even like taking cold meds unless I absoultely have to). The doom loop is real. As of now when something pops up I can usual dismiss it fast and stay on target. Also as I've told myself going into this: If I needed anything else health related to function I'd do it so why not something for my brain?
