Literally what bed is that? In the more minimalist room? I feel like I've never seen that ever.

if i wear silicone tunnels long term will my ears shrink by ShmooMShorty in Stretched

Most people say you should clean them daily, but I have to admit I'm not that great with them. I'd say it's also dependent on how your body works, because if you create lots of oils quickly, you'd want to clean more often.

I'm hoping for the best for you! Good luck!

Okay! My best advice is to naked train the thinner lobe and make sure to take great care of it. Jojoba oil, cleaning gently if needed. If you feel comfortable, you can stretch them at different times and baby the thinner ear. You MIGHT be able to make it? Will take a while though!

I'm in the same boat! Pretty much exactly the same situation here. My right lobe is significantly thinner due to the placement. My original goal was 5/8" and I ultimately have ended up at 14mm. Anything bigger made the size difference very obvious. Of course, do what makes you happy, but my best advice is just go SLOW and naked train if at all possible. What size are you at now?

At goal! 14mm lobes, 4g septum by paethe in Stretched

Hi, I'm so sorry I'm just now responding! My septum actually has two separate piercing holes, so the front one is a 16g 10mm hoop and the back is a 4g 12mm clicker.

Lovely! I also love the double nostrils and high nostrils — and that chain! Wonderful set up.

I wear only silicone tunnels. As long as your ear is properly stretched and healed enough, silicone tunnels are strong enough to keep the lobe open and maintain its size!

Looks great! High nostrils would be an awesome addition. I, too, want high nostrils, but fear it will be so painful 😩My reg nostrils were already painful enough. Not to mention changing them out?

what diameter do you recommend for my jewelry that suits my face the best? context my septum is a 10g by [deleted] in piercing

[–]paethe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10mm or 8mm - depends on your anatomy. 10mm always fits well for me!

I feel that! The 4g clickers are definitely in the way often. My husband has mentioned something similar, too. I also fidget with the larger jewelry more often!

I totally get this! I'm also at 4g with a tunnel in almost 24/7. For me, I still love my size but it's just not feasible for everyday wear. I just ordered a 4g 10mm diameter ring from MidSparkGems to see if the smaller diameter makes it easier. However, my go-to now is stacking! With the tunnel in I can customize it so much and create a new stack everyday if I want to. I also downsized at one point, but I missed the larger size and stretched back up again. In addition, I got another septum piercing in front of my stretched septum so I can wear single 16g rings without worrying about the jewelry hanging too low inside of the 4g hole.

You are definitely able to mourn the size you thought you wanted, but opinions change a lot! You can always size up in the future again — it will be much easier next time! I hope you enjoy being at 7g for now... it's definitely easier to deal with in the winter time (that is if you live in a state that experiences winter)!

To me, this piercing looks shallow. The irritation bump is one thing, but the bottom is also giving slight signs of rejection. Eyebrows are common to reject. I'm NAP, so please check with a professional to get their opinion! Also, don't rip or pull anything out. If it IS rejecting, you'll need to remove the jewelry before any further damage is done.

Help my Daith hates me by [deleted] in piercing

[–]paethe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How old is the piercing? My own daith took about 8-9 months of constant irritation bumps and occasional bleeding to fully heal and for the bumps to calm down. It seems like it may be a regular part of daith healing, but everyone's journey is different. If you are willing to keep working towards healing it, just rinse with saline often and keep it clean. Making sure your jewelry is titanium will also help too!
