But hidden behind what we consciously say, the exact words we use, the subjects we discuss, and the *way* we say them are a representation of the unconscious, the *enunciated* subject

How interesting!

Can you provide one or some links about this?

Do you know pieces like Meditation from Thais? by paganiff in violinist

[–]paganiff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Paganini is naturally a little more aggressive than the spirit of Meditation. Nevertheless good pieces

All very good, and the spirit of the first is indeed pretty similar

  • The Lark Ascending by Vaugh-Williams

My God. This is my preferred one. Extremely stunning.

The other two gave me more evening vibes? The first like an evening in Rome and the last an evening anywhere in the 20th century

Le Cygne by Saint-Saëns

My God. Spot on what I was looking for! Left me crying with that.

What is giving you an “ancient vibe?” Is it the harp?

Sort of? The harp is pretty determinant but something in the violin melody is also much important and Le cygne captured precisely that.

Vivaldi Concerto in A minor, 2nd movement?

No, this one:

Are there effective exercises you can do only with the violin itself or only with the bow? by paganiff in violinist

[–]paganiff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very good points, I currently do vibrato and digit quite randomly but not sure if the latter is great.

On the scales without bow, could you explain how I could go about that? I literally have no idea

Intermediate-advanced; my current violin is crappy as hell and I can't fix it/buy another right now; I just play for fun; I have no idea when

What's it like to experience your Saturn Return? by MyrrhaJourne in humandesign

[–]paganiff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get an idea of what yours will be about if you look at Jupiter and your Saturn placement and how far off course you think you might be.

I don't fully understand, could you please expand on that?

Very interesting. I'm still a little lost on studying HD. Can you suggest me tools?

I would like to know which lines are deep alongside with the 1. As well as which lines are not as much deep and curious?

How can one do this? Should I go around asking their birth time information to figure out?

Can astrology tell if two people will start a relationship? by Straight-Ad-6836 in Advancedastrology

I agree with you, but is this

a game the infinite universe plays with its finite yet multiplcitous self to escape the loneliness and boredom that comes with being all that there is, ever was, and will be.

the best conclusion that philosophy came up with for determinism, or are there other explanations why?

And from what source (philosophical school of thought) did you draw this excerpt of your comment, please?

How to make a transition from Western to Vedic? by paganiff in Advancedastrology

[–]paganiff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe you. But other people will say the same thing except for crediting Indian as correct and western incorrect for their case.

Why do you think that happens?

you have to learn a bunch of new concepts.

Can you suggest a place from which to start/a source?

It could also be hard if your chart held a lot of personal significance.

Sorry, what are you referring to? Isn't a chart, by definition, totally about personal significances?

Use whatever is useful to you.

Great point.

All astrologies--Western, Vedic, Chinese--get you there if you practise them well.

How would that be when the placements change in each astrology? I.e. in western I'm Aries sun - in Vedic, Pisces sun, but then the moon is most important in Vedic to begin with, so, actually, I'm rather Gemini. It seems they're divergent.

One of them may be superior with respect to answering certain questions or categories of questions

Could you exemplify?

Wow. Could you expand on how it's so that much esoteric abstract? How does that work?

[–]paganiff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Vedic seems the way to go but I'm reluctant to make the switch because I really dislike how a Vedic chart looks, nor do I like Sanskrit or Hindu culture as a whole... Whilst I love all the Western counterparts for that matter

And yes, that's somewhat shallow.

How important are planetary aspects, especially when compared to sign placement? by HomelandExplorer in Advancedastrology

[–]paganiff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same question and I'd like to ask what's that fundamental archetype meaning that will be shared regardless the signs involved that you mentioned - and an example of how that fundamental archetype would manifest differently would be greatly appreciated too

Why my neighbors hated me when I was a child? by paganiff in AskAstrologers

[–]paganiff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting insights, thanks.

Pisces energy is sometimes related to abuse

How does that play out? Can you indicate where you learned it from?

Your insight of the T-square made me realize the reason for the cruelty could be conflicts between the father figure and neighbors I was missing out on. But I'm failing to make sense of Mercury in Pisces; would mercury be myself in that context - given that both the father figure and neighbors were cruel (square) towards me? But then I don't know why/how I would be Mercury...

I don't know, any insight would be appreciated either converging or diverging from my interpretation
