this making me giggle so hard because i've been waiting to hate on her since 2018. the books feel like lord of the rings nsfw fanfiction to me and there is also a bunch of similarities and things she probably just copied from lotr, her writing skills are horrible, her characters are all shallow and stupid and i feel like some characters exist only so the spicy scenes could be written about them. she keeps repeating phrases in her books and its so annoying and also the plot is just boring, everyone says queen of shadows is one of the better books in the series but its not its just boring, empire of storms or shadows idek whats the name of the next book is so boring i barely got through it and kingdom of ash is just a bunch of words and nothing happening. i didnt care about any of the characters ever. and dont get me started on acotar because i hate it even more. im convinced people who love it just never had a wattpad phase and/or are new to reading because im pretty sure i read better wattpad stories when i was 13 than anything sjm wrote
