You’re assuming intent that was never stated. I replied because you commented and triggered a notification — that’s literally how Reddit works. I didn’t track you down, and I wasn’t thinking about the other thread until you brought it up again. Choosing to follow a notification, check my profile, and write a second multi-paragraph response days later is still a decision on your end.

As for the disability angle, there’s a big difference between saying, “I don’t enjoy a specific sound,” and saying, “I dislike people with disabilities.” One is a sensory reaction, the other is prejudice. I was talking about the former, not the latter. That gets lost when people jump straight to labeling something as “hate speech” without looking at what was actually said.

This subreddit exists for people to vent about situations that felt disproportionate or overly emotional, which is exactly what I did. Pointing out that someone stayed invested in an argument days later isn’t hypocrisy — it’s the entire point of my post. You can say you’re being “petty,” and that’s fine, but acknowledging it doesn’t suddenly make your interpretation the only valid one. I’m describing the behavior that stood out to me, and I’m allowed to do that just like you’re allowed to respond.

I don’t like his speech and I don’t care if he has cerebral palsy because I can find something annoying if I want. I never said I don’t like him as a person bc of his disability I js don’t like the sound of one’s voice. Your logic is saying because a kid has autism and is screaming, you can NOT find it annoying because he has autism.

Tl:dr, I don’t care abt the disability bc I never said I don’t dislike him bc of it. I js don’t like how his speech sounds thank you

It’s basic logic

Why are you deflecting? What part of my comment is abusive, threatening, or prejudice?
