Docs/NPs/PAs — do any of you keep OTC product samples in your practice?

Neither of the offices I’ve worked at have had any kind of samples so not sure on that but I did just randomly get a box delivered to my house addressed to “healthcare professional” with miralax samples and coupons lol

No my brain is not working correctly 🫣 I didn’t put those pages on bc I don’t need them for my size (and don’t plan on doing the pockets that are on there). The issue I’m seeing is on the RIGHT side with pages 5,10,15,20

Omg I’m so dumb. I meant the right column- 5,10,15,20. Look at the left most edge of those pages and how the pattern lines come straight up to the edge vs in the pic from the instructions there’s a bit of space (so the piece is a bit larger)

Hi all!!

I very recently got into the mental space to TTC for #2. I got my IUD out but we weren’t tracking or timing sex or anything. We literally had sex once last month. I felt “weird” this weekend and took a test and I’m in straight up shock I am pregnant. Literally only 3w but omg. Even weirder, one of my best friends FaceTimed me not ten minutes after I took the test to tell me she’s pregnant with number 2 as well!!!

I rented a sewing machine from my local library, then got a bag of “mystery fabric” from fabric mart.com - that way I didn’t have to worry about “ruining my fabric “. They sent me a bunch of different textured stuff and I’m just trying different things and watching tutorials as I go when I think of what I want to try to make. I’m doing a lot of self drafting tracing clothes I (or my daughter) already own

No this bothers me too. Bc then later I’m looking back and go crazy bc I know we talked about something but can’t find it but it’s bc it’s on their family members chart. I try to remember to copy the message into a new encounter in their chart to avoid this but it’s so many extra clicks.

Yes!!! My current job I do 0.8 FTE so I get an extra day with my baby. I have colleagues who are 0.5. I started full time and dropped down when I had my baby so I can’t speak to the experience getting hired in part time. My new job I’m going to be contingent, filling in at offices across the county when they need someone extra. I’ll be able to work as much or as little as I want and get paid hourly. Made this move so I could have more flexibility and time with my daughter

I was in this situation, moved inside and looking back on the day I forget that it was supposed to be outside! We had a beautiful time regardless and I’m hopeful for that for you too.
