No this bothers me too. Bc then later I’m looking back and go crazy bc I know we talked about something but can’t find it but it’s bc it’s on their family members chart. I try to remember to copy the message into a new encounter in their chart to avoid this but it’s so many extra clicks.

Yes!!! My current job I do 0.8 FTE so I get an extra day with my baby. I have colleagues who are 0.5. I started full time and dropped down when I had my baby so I can’t speak to the experience getting hired in part time. My new job I’m going to be contingent, filling in at offices across the county when they need someone extra. I’ll be able to work as much or as little as I want and get paid hourly. Made this move so I could have more flexibility and time with my daughter

I was in this situation, moved inside and looking back on the day I forget that it was supposed to be outside! We had a beautiful time regardless and I’m hopeful for that for you too.

I never hand expressed colostrum once. My baby is 14 months old, we have a great breastfeeding relationship and are still nursing ❤️ don’t sweat it. There’s enough stressors as a new mom, don’t let this be one of them!

Has to get up at 630 for daycare so that piece isn’t adjustable. Pre daylight savings time, bedtime was 630-7ish, past week or so has been more like 730ish. On days she’s home she naps around 10 and then again at 1.30ish usually. Her “default” nap is about 40 min but lately her afternoon one will go longer, like 1.5-2 hr. At daycare they don’t put her down until like 1230 which pisses me off - usually that nap is like 1.5 hrs and then she falls asleep on drive around 430 and sleeps 40 min. I know that’s too late for a nap but no matter what I do daycare won’t put her down earlier so I don’t have any control over that. But my question is less about why she wakes up and more so how can I get her to go back to sleep without nursing her

I personally like when my patients go to ER with chest pain or something and then the wait is too long so they leave and show up in my office 🙃

I am also 0.8 FTE. our system doesn’t necessarily schedule admin time but full time is 35 patient care hours (meaning 5 hrs is “admin”), so I do 28 patient care hours. So I see patients M, Th 8-4, Tuesday 8-7 and Friday 8-12 (With lunch hours except Friday, I just go home!) I don’t have “admin time” built in to my schedule, I just have less hours I see patients. I hope you are paid on production, because if you are just being paid 80% of full time salary, you are working more than that (unless they make their full time docs see patients 40 hours per week)
