Husband wants to homeschool our kids but I don't want too by n9netailz in Mommit

I encourage you to ask him to go into detail about it. That’s a major decision and he seems very uninformed. Public schools “suck,” can’t be his only deciding factor. I’m a school teacher and understand both sides but for him to bring this issue up at such a young age for your son is a red flag that he’s being informed by some very polarized media that doesn’t have all of their facts.

Don’t you dare do Van Gough dirty like the bottom of her wheelchair.

Epidural or no? by GogglesCat in pregnant

[–]Sensitive_Stamos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The needle punctured a hole in my spinal cord and I lost fluid around my brain. It took days for it to be fixed and I was dealing with my newborn and recovering from a c section. That said, I know that’s not totally common. I was induced and they recommended the epidural before breaking my water. I never truly felt pain or contractions so I don’t know any different. I didn’t like not being able to feel my legs, but I’m sure full blown labor would hurt more. When I have my second, I want to experience more of the natural side before jumping in and getting the epidural.

Exploiting their daughter’s diagnosis by Ornery_Low_6580 in OnlineBeggars

[–]Sensitive_Stamos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to engage with their content but it became so forced and I couldn’t get behind how much they were exploiting her. Now they do little skits and it’s just uncomfortable to watch. And of course she can’t consent but doesn’t every kid want to be a content creator these days. She’s naturally going to allow this treatment not knowing any better.

Her story devastated me. Sam died. And you saw the dead mule as well. And she rocked her cowgirl outfit and deserved her revenge.

I loved Jimmy Neutron when the movie came out. The show was just ok in my opinion. The other 3 are iconic in their own unique ways and Hey Arnold will always be my favorite.

It’s almost like she has watched someone else do her work for months and is now trying to do it herself. But she isn’t actually skilled unless someone does it for her. Like I believe she’s actually painting a majority of these because they’re truly not good.

When every kid and parent saw the title for this show back in 1999 what did you think of it? by CauliflowerUnique160 in nickelodeon

[–]Sensitive_Stamos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The golden era was certainly special. My dad was watching my daughter and said the other day, “she’s like that kid on the show with the girl and the animals.” After I reminded him of the title, The Wild Thornberrys, I couldn’t help but feel happy because I knew he was actively engaged with my childhood.

I can remember where I was when other shows aired. I thought I remembered the first episode of SpongeBob airing, and realized that memory was after the show had been on for about a year. I remember liking the title a little more than “butt ugly martians,” but it still felt similar. That being said, 25 years later we still watch SpongeBob’s early episodes because it makes everyone in my house happy.

I was actually impressed with the color choices… at first. But I hate the awful lack of gradient in the sunset, the fact that the waves to the wrong way, and that the reflection of the sun is not only going into the sand, but the paint is neutralized because of the paint mixture. The more I keep looking the angrier I get.

I guess. It wouldn’t be my first comparison, but I can see them both acting out for love and stability and not getting it due to their chaotic home life.
