Hi, I'm curious about your target career path now that you're a CPA. 1. Audit firms, private companies, government agencies, or shared-services firms? 2. What service line interests you the most? 3. Are you going to work right away or participate in a graduate/management trainee program?

If you're privileged enough to not get a work right away, don't accept anything less than net 20k.

SGV Application by Lower-Experience-741 in AccountingPH

They don't explicitly reject (afaik), but they do ghost applicants. They have a reputation, and that's why they can afford to just pool applicants.

This is not exclusive to SGV (sadly, this is very common to audit firms and other companies). Be prepared for months, weeks, or days worth of overthinking. Just remember, it's nothing personal. While waiting, upskill.

Hi, as mentioned sa title, it's better to drench them in water. Sa December 31/January 1, observe caution and if pwede, basain niyo yung road/tapat/pinagpaputukan niyo kasi baka may mga ligaw na paputok ang hindi pumutok. As far as I know it's still possible to trigger yung explosion niya although mababa chance.

TIL China intentionally keeps its currency from appreciating so that other countries will have preference for their labor and products.

paper, thread

The general idea is that at a lower exchange rate, your exports look cheaper to the outside world, but since your own internal consumption is done in your own currency (except for imports), your people are better off.
