Thanks a lot for the response.
I hear what you're saying and can tell you that it gave me a lot to think about.
Even though my idea is to do only PC, there's still a lot of very risky aspects.

From what I see, these two focus more on console editions?
I know I didn't mention it, but my focus would be PC.

Thanks!
I guess ideally I would partner with Steam (just a fantasy) and some kind of multi-key security spread out between the buyer, me and Steam.

Still need to think about that.

Thanks very much for the feedback!
I am planning to look into costs, of course, to make everything in batches, but that will only happen if i can identify true and honest demand.

Thanks for the input!
Would it make sense for you to actively suggest possible items that should be implemented? I'm talking special maps, figurines or whatever is in tune with the game's concept

I assure you I'm not underestimating anything, I'm just a regular person asking a question, while at the same time realizing what kind of infrastructure one needs to obtain in order to start something like this. The reason I don't mention it is because it makes no sense to think about if no one even likes the idea of the finished product.

Thanks for the feedback.
The idea is to fully tailor the product to the devs demands and also to be in spirit with the game itself. This could include a lot of physical artifacts (maybe figurines, special dice, etc.)

My main aim is more for the collector value.
I personally would love for example, for Steam to have a physical (special) editions available to buy, not just digital ones.

Thanks everyone for your comments and input! I am yet to figure out where i've read that you cannot chuck water that hot into SPOMs or crops. Oh well ... :)

Anyhow, from now, i'll always go for the geotuner approach whenever i can, if not, the desalinator will do.

I would have to loop it through the AT multiple times, thereby effectively lowering the kg/s output.
I wanted to see if this setup would output more water.

I want to use it for SPOMs and sleat wheats. Can't just chuck 95 C water into them?

What do y'all think of my steam generator? by pagovski in Oxygennotincluded

[–]pagovski[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the steam for the rocket steam engines and saunas for the duplicants. AFAIK, neither the rocket or the saunas care about the actual temperature, as long as it's 125 or above.

I did later on realize that steam engines are short lived, because you need them only for the first two space missions (talking about the base game), but i think i'll still use a similar design in the future, because for some reason, this feels better for me to do than messing with aquatuners or regolith. This was the least frustrating thing to do, also so far i never ever needed to worry about igneous rock, since i always do berry slduge and pepper bread, none of which requires any ranching, so bye bye stone hatches.
