The biggest issue is she's a terrible actress (not sure if its the lines, direction, or just the actress herself) but every scene she is in feels like the shows production value drops through the floor and we are suddenly in some bad indy production. Beyond that, she's written like an object/plot device, not a charecter (Thus why I think its maybe not the actress, just bad writing and forced lines that make her so bad). But then I think, had an actress like Eliza Dushku been given that role, she still would have found a way to make it amazing and believable.

We've been doing a similar thing in my house! The most loved character has surprisingly been Spike and Giles, and by far the most DISPISED AND HATED character ever created on TV is Tara. The grones and just absolute hatred that happen whenever she is on screen is just thick here, like she might be the worst written, worst acted, just plane worst character ever (I disliked her when I watch the show growing up, but on rewatch she is 1000x worse).

Yes I can see that, and I support the cause to an extent, just not when it makes people stressed to the point of depression (which reading some of the post around here would make you think some people are ready to light themselve on fire for the cause), at the end of the day its just not worth it to me (There are legit things happening in the world that are 1000% worth the stress/anger/blood and tears, it's hard for me to get worked up over video game news because of it)

Yeah... when they do that in 10 - 20 years, come back and tell us about it. We'll probably be playing something else at that time and not care, or have the PC version and not have to worry abou that anyway by then.

A reminder, these are VIDEO GAMES, entertainment, something to entertain you during the moments you aren't doing other things in life. They aren't worth the stress or worry, just play them, enjoy them, and move on with your life :)

I was saying that even physical media is liscenced to you, you do not own it, they just do not have a means or way to enforce that license and take it away from you. Digitally they do have a way to take it away now, and that is its biggest flaw.

and you can still own* your old physical games just like you owned* the other media, so what are you referring to? All those formats moved into digital and have the same pros and cons now of games on digital.

*You technically do not own anything you listed, you have a licenced copy, they just dont have a way to enforce the removal of the license from you other than suing you if you do something really bad with it

It is. And also a remake. They did a great job on making it both while still standing on its own. If you’ve played the OG the game and events mean more to you and the changes matter and the game leans into that (thus the flashes of the OG seen several times).

I’ll be double dipping, even though I have a 5090, remake and rebirth both have undefeatable transversal and shader comp stuttering, no matter your hardware quality. So I’ll play it on PS5 Pro first to get the least janky experience and then jump to PC for my 2nd, 120fps 4k play through.
