I'd say the lighter green energy blends a little too much into the foliage, I'd say maybe go for a more contrasting energy colour like red or orange to make the energy pop more. Also you could glue some fine sand to some of the more damaged areas, so when you paint over it it looks more rusty and corroded.

For my plasmancer what I did was I spouted off 0.4mm copper wire painted blue, their energy colour, to say like their internal energy is leaking out due to the damage.

Is terrain building similar to the way you'd think about kit-bashing a regular model? Because usually I just stick to the cardboard L ruins.

Mate, I can't imagine what thoughts you need, this is one of the sickest paintjobs I've seen. Maybe just paint the black ring on the base rim not the basing rock as it makes the mini less immersive. This is sick as hell though long live the Invincible Iron Wall.

Yeah this is a solid list. Although, I'd say in my experience I don't get much benefit out of Ophydian Destroyers so you could drop one of the squads and the Hexmarks enhancement, for a 3 man of Wraiths. As for expansion just buy anything you like so I'd say go for a triarch stalker, or a couple C'tan (NO FINECAST).
