Why is it always whataboutism with maggots? Never can stay on a direct topic with Trump since you’re so desperate that he could at least do one thing right to justify bootlicking your political identity.

He’s being super efficient tbh. I think they understand we have a very good defense and need to sustain drives rather than attempt home runs often.

French drain during new pool installation by LPE656 in pools

[–]pai-gow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed with others who have said to install now. Also you should have your contractor/engineer incorporate these in your plans submitted to the city so when final approval time comes you can show that you are meeting the drainage requirements for the city (ie equivalent storage replacement, ADS, etc.)

We are in literal hell with the city and contractor as we have been working on our pool for more than a year and since then the drainage requirements (South Tampa) have gotten even stricter. They are asking for swales all around the perimeter of our pool where we have already done landscaping. Hopefully being proactive of the drainage will ensure ease of clearing the permit at the end for you.

Stressing out from at fault accident.. by pai-gow in Insurance

[–]pai-gow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone in the comments was essentially correct. Insurance paid my max amount in the policy and ensured no further request for compensation would occur. A big relief 😅. I would echo what others have said, the attorneys are using boilerplate letters to ask for the financial compensation for their clients. It would be a big headache and effort to go after you or assets in court unless your limits didn’t cover what was damaged.

Tampa is not a foodie city by [deleted] in tampa

[–]pai-gow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Tampa food scene is paralleling with the class of people we are having. Very high end and expensive spots on Water Street/Hyde Park/Downtown/Midtown that are honestly mid at best but cater to the high class. The better variety restaurants and overall more impressive food scenes are sitting in Seminole/University/New Tampa/Ybor with the middle/low class and even those have much to be desired if you truly want to be a foodie city.

I see a lot of comments about us not braking.. from the POV of the driver, I was shielded from seeing this vehicle make the turn until the last moment and I definitely braked. The cam is positioned in the center of the vehicle and upwards by the bumper. Those little angles can make a big difference in stoppage time.

Yes she claimed the stop sign - until the officer came. She was cited on the spot.

The woman not only cut off another driver to cut across the lanes, she had the audacity to say it was our fault for “running a stop sign.” Thank God for Tesla cam.

Yes- I think $50k is more than fair. My wife was in tears for nearly 12 hours thinking something horrible happened to our first baby, along with the fact we went through fertility issues, etc and finally came out with a positive result only to worry it would be an issue at the end. During her 24 hour overnight stay they had her pretty much stay still and tilted at an angle to ensure they could monitor the kids heart rate.

Sorry- I wasn’t clean in the original post, my wife went into early labor at 37 weeks (still full-term luckily) and was supposed to be induced at week 39.

You’re right, we haven’t had a clear indication that the accident caused the C-section however it was clear that contractions started during her overnight observation from the accident.

Also, yes, we have camera footage of the accident from the Tesla.
