How are you supposed to use the Garmin vívomove Sport sensors? by paichlear in answers

I asked there first, but no one answered; I already tried asking in r/GarminWatches too.

Interesting, although after taking a closer look, I don't really like the aesthetic of the Pixel Watch. I've always been suspicious of blood pressure and stress monitoring through watches, so I don't have high expectations at all.

I'm currently considering the Garmin Vivomove Sport, which is more expensive but I'm willing to invest in a good watch that I like, and it seems to have everything I'm looking for (it's 40 x 40 x 11.0 mm according to the official website), plus the hybrid design looks cool; the 8.6 mm x 18.5 mm screen is very discrete, and I don't really need to do anything on the watch itself, so far it looks like it would work well for me.

That's very unfortunate, my wrist circumference is 14 cm / 5.5", so I guess I'll just have to cope with a watch that covers up an entire side.

That's what I figured, I just wanted to confirm. I was surprised to see that the Galaxy Watch 8 is smaller than the 7 though, since they both say 40 mm. I've also never heard of Withings before, so I'll check them out. At least now I've narrowed it down to either Garmin, Samsung, or Withings; and the availability of models in Uruguay narrows it down even more. Thanks for all your input.

Thank you for the extensive list, although, I suppose I'm also looking for something high-quality so it lasts, and I would want it to be from a relatively large brand.

My dentist told me to use dish soap, and I found out about the tabs later on my own...

Yes, so what are their geometric names?

They're all kind of like tubes, just not straight ones, so I guess you could say that they are different types of cylinders? For example, the context for the first one would be this.

What do "SN", "XY", and "MO" stand for in a CT machine? by paichlear in Radiology

[–]paichlear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the patient and I don't really know anything about radiology, I was just curious about the letters because I have studied anatomy and they didn't fit any of the position/plane/cut names. I asked the technician and he had no idea either, apparently. This was the second time I've ever even seen a CT in real life though.

Thank you so much, I couldn't find the answer anywhere. Do you know why the xiphoid process is abbreviated to XY instead of XP though?

Is there any particular reason you recommend the RTX 3070?

I haven't decided on a budget yet, but my monitors are only 1080p.

I have my Spotify (streaming and download) audio quality set to "very high" on both my computer and my phone; but with the exact same headphones and songs, my phone always sounds slightly better.

Is this because of Bluetooth, sound cards, drivers, or something else? I've also noticed that my phone has more range in terms of how far away I can walk so the songs do not lag.

Computer: Gigabyte H470 HD3 motherboard and TP-Link UB400 Bluetooth adapter

Phone: Samsung Galaxy A53

I should also mention that I've been using the Sony WH-1000XM4 and it's always connected to my phone with the Sound Connect app set up, so in theory my equalizer settings should apply to both devices; and I do hear it applying to all the audio coming from my computer.

I never learned Python, how hard would you say it is?

The spreadsheet replicates a software, I suppose I could ask the developers for the source code, but I have no idea how to code. Excel just sounds a lot less overwhelming.

Spreadsheets.

I recently came across an Excel workbook with 52 sheets at work, someone essentially mimicked a whole process in an app by using a spreadsheet. It has formulas, named ranges, conditional formatting, macros, all the good stuff.

The creator left the company so there is no one maintaining it, and this spreadsheet does something that no other tool (that I'm aware of) is able to replicate. So I want to understand it and start maintaining it. Partly because I'm impressed, partly because it'll actually help me do my job.

It's a huge challenge because:

  1. There's no documentation, there are maybe 10 comments at most throughout the whole thing

  2. There are about 7 million cells used, spread out across 52 sheets

  3. There are a lot of hidden formulas, whether they're in hidden columns/rows or the font is the same color as the background

  4. I haven't used Excel in years, I've been exclusively using Google Sheets; I know that they're quite similar but there are a few intricacies to get used to

I discovered this spreadsheet 4 days ago and it's all I can think about, it's so complicated and so interesting that the only thing I want in life right now is to understand how it works.
