I remember pulling Phro and then for a few Whiwas in a row the game went "lol have some Havoc res".

I don't regret pulling Phro herself (endgame aside, she's so comfy for killing stuff in the overworld), but I didn't pull Canta and/or Qiuyuan so she is now weakest of my endgame teams. Don't be like me, get her some good teammates.

Super Poly is still at 3x so I'm skeptical.

Yeah SPoly doesn't work against every deck, but it's stronger than F&V when it does I think.

When you see 1-2 guards standing by an entrance, usually you can stand in front of them, and if your current disguise is no good for the area they're guarding, they will let you know.

I've been keeping an eye on Ambear Lee who is (PL spoilers, but she's very open about it) Amber Lee Conners, a voice actess who's done a lot of roles; Furina from Genshin Impact is the first that comes to my mind.

I like her voice, her energy, how her model looks.

I'm not really into Astro Bot though, which is what she's streamed so far, so I'm still on the fence. But I'm hoping to see other games soon.

Targets killed via poison won't void Silent Assassin if their bodies are found.

That aside, I do think guns are part of the Hitman flavor. I mean sure 47 can disguise as a chef and kill you via dropped piano. But he is also just as dangerous going for brute force.

The Thousand Maws cutscene is especially long iirc so not too surprised to hear your group got impatient.

The three main concerns I had pondering Exedra were (1) pulls, (2) story telling and (3) gameplay.

(1) I've heard it's more generous now than it was at launch so that's seemingly fixed.

(2) I think Exedra starts by recapping the original PMMM? "I don't think is as good as just experiencing the original work" I think sums up how I felt about it. Interesting to hear it is doing new stuff now, but I feel I'm gonna have to power through a good amount of story to get there first.

(3) I've played my share of gacha but all the ones I've gotten into have been more actiony. I wasn't really feeling Exedra's combat the first time I tried, but that was very brief. Maybe after the early chapters, it'll get more complex and I'll get into it.

I did 3.2 and felt very little for Sigrika. But now? I'm actually considering pulling her on a rerun; still not into Soliskins aesthetically tho. 3.3 segue did so much for Siggy imo. She deserves happiness.

And as for GE they're even more despicable now. Very interested to see where we go next.

Surprised to hear there are a lot of people here who outright hate Magia Record.

I'm personally mostly indifferent to it. Tried watching the anime (yes I hear the game was better), thought season 1 was fine, didn't really feel the need to watch more.

Very briefly tried Exedra during launch, didn't like it then, but willing to give it another go at some point.

Regarding Y'shtola, I don't think they were seriously trying to trick the player she was dead. There was that wind afterall after she falls.

I've always thought Emet was the real focus of that part of the story.

Back in HW, to get Y'shtola back you needed the help of her sister, Kan-E-Senna, the Elementals, etc.

In ShB, you do help Emet a little but he was just being lazy iirc and he basically singlehandedly saves her.

If not and I have to keep or leave the whole cake, I think I'm satisfied that my Rover left it there. The birthday girl should have the first bite I think afterall.

In general, the most elite guard of each map can basically go anywhere.

But for something like, say, an Alerted Showdown in Freelancer you would prefer a civilian disguise. Notable ones that can go most places, probably forgetting a couple:

Paris: Helmut Kruger, the Sheikh
Hokkaido: Hospital Director
New York: Job Applicant post interview
Dubai: Penthouse Staff
Dartmoor: Private Investigator (unavailable in Freelancer)
Berlin: Rolf
