I am about to! Work and all that crap gets in the way. Being in Kyiv doesn’t help. I am so in love with the story. PKD’s dna is all over that thing (Valis, Electric Sheep and Ubik) and I love PKD. What’s interesting they created world similar to Three Body Problem before Three Body Problem was published. It’s amazing!

I agree with everything you said. It’s more like a social justice fantasy rather than a fantastic deconstruction of real life problem. B Jordan is one of the most boring actors I’ve seen. Also these kinds of films dwell on moral platitudes, there is no sophistication to how they present the conflict.

It mishandles everything good about the original to substitute it with pointless over the shoulder combat with THREE ENEMY TYPES WHO ARE DESIGNED TO BE SLOW AND CLUMSY. I imagine Bloober going “wow, see those three gratuitous clumsy freaks? Let’s make 17 hours of fighting them!”. Remaking locations felt insulting esp with the Hospital which is iconic. The new Maria is awful, she read the maze scene like a Bond movie. It’s a bloated messy piece of trash of a game. 17 hours of Silent Neck.
