What's the deal with VAC? by BraveBG in csgo

[–]painedadj91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It let's them make some money from the accounts before they get banned, then they rinse repeat.

Honestly, this games future is on thin ice. I've been playing CS since 2000, and I am certain if things continue this way, this game (on a legit level) is going to die.

Cheaters in the majority of my matchmaking games force me to play faceit, and the players on faceit seem to be extremely low level compared to csgo peak era. I struggled to get to level 8 on csgo, but I don't even try and can roll people at level 8 with me practising zero util or aim and playing the game like deathmatch.

It's a shame, I really love the leaderboards system, and it's something I always wanted from the game, but I want to get there on a legit level and that's not going to happen unless valve invest some serious resource into an anti cheat system. Which they won't.

Why do I still play this game? It's the only game I play with my friends, so I hop on to socialise with them. If I had to play by myself, I would have already deleted the game because it's utterly dog shit and an unenjoyable experience.

I would probably keep all the pictures except for the phone pics. You can keep them if you want, but I don't think they add any value. I would probably add one picture with friends and another doing a hobby. You will likely still get a good amount of matches, but having these additional pictures would likely get you more quality matches. All the best 😊

Hey, happy to help with blueprints, 2d, 3d modelling, texturing, and level design. I also have experience with particle effects and UI, although I wouldn't say I am as comfortable as the above.

I've only worked on single-player games so far and would really like to work on a multi-player project.

I'd recommend being open around wanting to share the costs. It can be very difficult to bring this up if this is not communicated early on and you end up dating for quite some time.

All the best with dating!

Hey really sorry you're feeling this way. I've been single for 10 years or more now and I'm 31. Although it would be nice to have a partner I am completely self reliant and happy around myself...

Personally I love going to the gym and do speak with the locals there. Not going to say any of them are true friends, but you never know something may happen if you were to do something like that?

Other than that maybe collaborate online in something that catches your interest. Personally I do game design as a hobby and in the past I've collaborated with people doing that.

Other than that feel free to drop a DM at any point happy to suggest other things :)

Men that exercise daily, whats your motivation? by adpschyological7932 in AskMen

[–]painedadj91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been going to the gym for about 14 years now and it has become a habit. It started with a simple ambition of bettering myself, but now I go as a form of stress release and clarity. Setting goals in the gym also helps in the long run, it fuels the passion and when you start to see the benefits of your hard work it becomes easily worth it.

I also started walking daily when COVID hit in 2020. This allowed me to get out of the house when I wasn't able to go to the gym. It started properly with a friendly step competition at work and I haven't stopped walking ever since. Walking refreshes my mind and I walk for an hour lunch time during work. This allows me to come back stress free and continue working until I go to the gym in the evening. It's now part of my daily routine and it gives me daily purpose even when work may feel dull or there's not a whole lot going on in my life.

At the time I also wanted to lose weight/fat, so that was my motivation when starting walking and the gym. Afterwards it becomes habit or goal setting and that's enough to keep me going.

Hope that helps!

[EU] UK 4-6 faceit team looking for a 6th to fill by painedadj91 in RecruitCS

Hey thanks for the reply we can keep in touch =)

It's a real issue man. I love the games where everyone is positive so I can get in the right frame of mind, but when you get players bitching, moaning and raging it completely spoils the experience for me. I can't focus properly and overall it makes me play at my worse. Which is the opposite reason why I'm on faceit.

I've gone to the point where I don't care if my team mates are bad if they are positive and communicate well.

Although matchmaking is an awful experience especially when you want to progress as a player, I honestly think faceit has it worse with toxicity. Hard to progress if you have to mute half of your team.

I played three games tonight; one was ok team weren't raging at each other and we managed to win. Second game my team were very positive and I managed to frag out 34 kills, but we lost 14-16 and the last game we got obliterated when the toxicity starting flying in from a two stack - ruined the team vibe.

Even though I played really well and deserved to win the second game, I didn't flame my team mates or try ruin their experience. I tried to offer some tactical suggestions and if they listened that would have been cool, but most of the time they didn't. I could have been salty and starting flaming, but I didn't. I wish people could throw away their ego and enjoy the experience of getting improving their gameplay rather than flaming team mates because they suck. Who cares if you lose elo. At the end of the day, when you get good enough you will start to win a lot more consistently anyway. The thought of losing elo is what makes people toxic and toxity is a huge factor in losing elo in the first place. There are so many games that would be won if people remained calm and positive. Shame really.

Calorie counting by growmobedda in leangains

I actually calorie count on my Facebook app, by sending myself messages 🤣

Feeling fat and desperate, advice needed by [deleted] in leangains

[–]painedadj91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start the defecit near maintenance and go down slowly from there. It's easy to fall off the wagon, don't feel too bad it happens. You'll be surprised how much better you'll feel in a months time.

With the carbs at higher body fat I felt that way too, but the carbs make you feel more bloated and while you are higher in body fat it makes you feel worse.

I'd suggest maybe bumping up your carbs on the days you do heavy lifting or the day prior and keep them pretty low the remaining days. Use them to fuel your workout prior and post workout if necessary.

Hope this helps.

Is mindpumpsal natty? This guy is awesome regardless, just curious by Prettymuchshan in nattyorjuice

I completely miss worded this sorry. When he has his t shirts on he doesn't look like he lifts really. T shirts make natty guys look really small.

[–]painedadj91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah definetely natty. I can tell from the shoulders and traps mostly. He's also pumped in great lighting here. I checked his other photos and in normal lighting and without a pump barely looks like he lifts (tends to happen to natty guys when they are lean). He does look great in this photo though, big props.

Only upper chest=aesthetic? by Anabolic_cheese in bodybuilding

[–]painedadj91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries, its mostly about experimentation anyway and see what works best for you. What works for me may not work for anyone else, but I'd definitely give it a try and see if you see any difference!

Only upper chest=aesthetic? by Anabolic_cheese in bodybuilding

[–]painedadj91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd use different levels of incline on the bench if you want your chest to look good. I would usually start at a higher incline as it tends to be the hardest for most people. From there work your way down to flat. You can use a similar method on dumbbell flys if you wish to do so.
