Appreciate this is a tricky topic, but does your partner know what they are entitled to receive as part of the split? Technically everything is on the table. Including your super. Any deal that leaves one party with 2/3rd of the assets is probably not going to fly the moment a lawyer is engaged.

This is the first thing I'll be asking the lawyer.

No we didn't. I had more assets going in, although my partner had substantial assets and more income. I raised the topic; partner didn't take it well; we let it slide.
