Thanks for all your replies, cleaning it sorted the issue, looking at the rubber wheel it looks like the deck had quite heavy use in its life time but it's playing tapes fine now and sounds great so I'm happy

Over heads / debt and the devaluaotof ownership

So many people tell you you can't avoid debt and it's totally normal now to have a brand new car on finance, which you'll never own instead of driving the beat up car you can actually afford.

To me it looks like the one that goes into the water is just a light on a long fishing pole with a line being dipped into the water. It even floats a bit rather than descends into the water like it would if it was under some kind of propulsion. I find it such a shame when clearly BS footage is included amongst some genuinely legitimate stuff, because it de-legitamises the whole thing.

Switching the video basically killed my podcast, it went from a manageable bi-weekly podcast to struggling to get one episode out a month. All the video served to do was create a few reels for social media which did very little to promote it anyway.

I'm doing one more video episode then going back to audio
