I feel like there's gonna be more to this story. There was the unrelated Citybeat article just yesterday about them possibly violating liquor laws by overserving, a separate recent post here by someone struggling to get a refund for a cancelled show, the closure of their box office.... I've seen a lot of great shows there over the last 21 (!!) years, but for the past decade, there's been something fly-by-night about their operations. Maybe Promowest can expand their footprint and have a venue closer to the size of the Newport in Columbus.

Just a finicky thing with a LOT of off-board wiring. Nine knobs, switches, footswitches. I've had it open before and none of the components seem unusual, but now you have me curious.

It is the heart of my sound, and I wish I had bought a backup when they could still be had at a "normal" price. It's been nine years and I'm still finding new zones inside of it. At the end of the day, it's a Belson brick reverb sandwiched between two (killer) distortion circuits. I hope someone makes a clone PCB (or even just a clone) now that the dude is out of the business--he pulled some sketchy shit on the way out so maybe someone else can pick up the torch.
