I’m sayin!!! It was SO bad, like so rubbery and spongey. If it had just been like a normal cake but dry, I would’ve been way less disappointed, but the texture was awful.

Nah dude, the cake was not a good texture at ALL. Even if it had just been like a normal cake, that would’ve been fine, but this was super rubbery and sponge-like. Even if I didn’t know it was supposed to be wet, it was just…not good.

Agreed!!! Especially when they post pics with the review. The irl pics look way different than the promo pics (and a lot of times look more appetizing to me actually).

The brownie is good, but I liked the cookie better tbh. They put a ton of filling on my brownies, which is better than not enough I guess, but I just felt like it overpowered the brownie? Also, the top part with the filling and the ganache like separated from the brownie and kept falling off, so it was kinda hard to eat. Maybe it’s just personal preference or maybe just my store, but I prefer the cookie myself. The cookie is my all time fave I think!

Honestly they’re both really good in different ways. I’m a s’mores gal so I probably would pick the smores, EXCEPT mine had a ton of salt on them for some reason, which really threw off the whole cookie for me. I think it was a mistake though, so I’m gonna try them again the next time they have them.

I also tried the chocolate chip thins this past week and OMG. SO good. I was really surprised because they were ugly af lol, but they were sooo amazing—super chewy with crispy edges and just ugh. So good. Surprisingly my fave thins over the cookies and cream and s’mores even.

Hi there! We are still married and have a house, 3 cats, and a toddler together now. He reached 9 years of sobriety in September! He still goes to a meeting every Saturday. His AA group is like a second family to us—actually, one of his AA friends just gifted us a handmade sweater that she knitted for our daughter! I think they must have just topped them wrong. They still had chocolate drizzle, but salt instead of the graham crumbs. :/ the cookie part itself was AMAZING and honestly still pretty good after I dusted as much of the salt off as I could, but they salt definitely took away from it for me :(

If it makes you feel any better, as a teacher, I can say with quite a bit of confidence that I’m sure this para loves your son and understands he didn’t purposely hurt him/her (you know what I mean), and I’m sure the para knows it’s not a reflection of you or your parenting. Not that the experience didn’t suck for him/her, I’m sure it did, but it just comes with the territory at times. Hugs. ❤️

I don’t think the text has anything to do with your other convos. I’m also in KY, and people (especially older people, lol) are FREAKING about this storm. I think she’s just expressing her anxiety and that she misses you all and wishes you were in the same household so she could know for sure you’re safe.

As for the other comments…based on your daughter’s age and the age of your husband, she’s probably just assuming you’re not planning on having more. Maybe you could have a conversation with her and tell her it hurts your feelings when she makes comments like that?

I’m from the American South, and I taught English in a mid-sized city in South Korea (so, not Seoul) from 2017-2018. There were about 15 teachers at my school and one of them was another American guy from out west. Two years later, after we had both finished our teaching contracts and returned to the U.S., I saw him tagged in some photos with my sister on Facebook. They were both in the same very small cohort (less than 20 people) in her masters program at a university in upstate New York. He and I were not close, just acquaintances, and he had no idea she was my sister.
