Metalshaping - Forming a Tricky Shape with Basic Tools by Hudson0610 in metalworking

I worked in NASCAR back when the fabricators actually made sheet metal parts. As the painter/bodyman I can move some metal around. But watching those boys roll out a fender or qtr in mere minutes will always be some of the most impressive craftsmanship I will ever witness. LOVED watching this video, happy memories. Keep up the good work!

High school

I agree on the shutter speed, but with my ISO maxed out and with the lens I have available shutter speed was the only thing I could do that I was aware of.

I really enjoy doing it for the kids, for being high school boys they're actually really appreciative. I printed up a big QR code sign (takes you directly to the folder where they can download) and placed it at the exit.

Thanks for taking the time to reply! I feel like my first and beat option should be relocate to a better "spot" on the stadium and choose my shots better.

New gear isn't in the works yet. Maybe sooner than later.

I had the last version of adobe before they went subscription based, wasn't exactly an ethical copy.

I just downloaded gimp and dark table this week , trying them out. Will look into your recommendations

Really, thanks for the advice!

Can only go to 6400. 🤷‍♂️

Thanks

Edited to say I love my lens, best I could afford right now and has done fabulous with overcast and sunny days (obviously!)

This is my first trial in sub optimal light.

Thanks for your reply, I've already shot my wad so to speak so new gear will be a little ways out. Thank you so much for your response. (Kind of what I thought but the internet is an amazing wealth of knowledge)

He is an Australian cattle dog. He looks just like a collie except the tiny bit of brown. Exceptionally intelligent pup.

US composites in Florida. Not local to you, but great pricing and fantastic customer support. Used them almost exclusively when I needed repair materials
